Every serious, principled progressive knows we have not had a real resistance movement against Trump--meaning an organized resistance to the corrupt political system vomited up Trump as U.S. president. Instead we've only a p*ssy-hatted "McResistance" sponsored by warmongering corporate Democrats and their well-heeled donors: a "resistance" utterly unwilling to tackle meaningful issues.
Astute progressives have begun to see the Poor People's Campaign's potential as the long-overdue resistance movement--provided it's truly faithful to fighting Dr. King's "triple evils" of poverty, racism, and militarism as well as the added evil of ecological degradation.
