It has embraced class politics as ways to pressure a corporatist Democratic establishment that made friends with oligarchs and war criminals, pushing back against the business takeover, against environmental degradation, and against interventionism abroad, a coalition that transcends the successes or failures of individual politicians; "class politics isn't going anywhere." Bad news for those who have dedicated their careers to sustaining a system that, fueled by corporate cash, places profit over people, exploitation over solidarity, and party unity over principle. Progressive movements are unlikely to force a collective change of heart in a Democratic establishment ensconced in a lucrative ideological fortress
