In spite of Saudi Arabia’s long history of human-rights abuses, its support of Wahhabi terrorism, and its ongoing genocidal war in Yemen, the kingdom has always gotten a free pass (and lots of weapons) from Washington and its allies. Even when a U.S.-supplied bomb was used to strike a school bus in Yemen killing 40 children this past August, no one batted an eye. Up to this point the relationship with the Saudis was considered too important to risk. Now for some reason the Khashoggi murder is being treated as a line crossed.

I've grown accustomed to life on the precipice. My balance is getting better. :)

How many powerful countries has the U.S. gone nose to nose with, just in the past year? How many agreement withdrawals? Haven't heard the 'big one' yet; tho' I suppose we will some day. (small boys; big toys, ya' know) I'm done getting nervous.

This exceptional country of ours kills our own people willy-nilly and massacres the people, animals and lands of tiny defenseless (yet sovereign) countries all over the place, just like playing a silly game of Risk.

Do we even know that this journalist is dead? Where's the proof? And how many others, on a monthly basis? Isn't journalist killing a hobby in Mexico? Just not front page news anymore.

It's the age of Chaos. We are deceived daily. If we're not able/willing to do anything about it, let's at least stop the hair-pulling. I feel like a flamingo, sleeping almost comfortably on one leg.

There is more horror zeroing in on us from the inside than the outside.
