This is a must read, if you want to see who is taking control of our schools for the foreseeable future: The three biggest players in “education reform” in K-12 schools mostly directed to low-income students and families are the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation (Microsoft), the Eli and Edy  Board Foundation (finance, real estate, and insurance) and the Walton Family Foundation (Walmart).  President  Eisenhower warned voters to be wary of the "Military Industrial Complex." Who know that in 2015 we would have to keep our eyes on the "educational industrial complex," a combination of corporations, philanthropies, government agencies, and the organizations that promote privatization and high-stakes testing?  Watching what was happening in the world of education,  a NYU professor,  decided to create a graphic to illustrate the "Educational Industrial Complex."
