The Decade We Changed Our Minds

Some good things happened between 2010 and 2019, according to New York Times columnist Charles M. Blow. We moved forward, he writes, on our attitudes toward LGBTQ etc. populations, legalization of marijuana, 'rebirth of protest movements.' We all can name the other end of this decade's events: extremism, increased incidence of gun violence and anti-Semitism, lowered lifespans among poor people, and the list goes on.
