Syrian army retakes Christian holy place from ISIS - Palmyra

Palmyra, Syria emerged from the grip of the insane ISIS cult when Syrian Arab Army forces took the city back after a series of battles.  Ironically, this happened on Easter Sunday.  Palmyra became a Christian city in 312 A.D. and was the site of the largest Christian church in Syria.  ISIS members defaced and destroyed some of the ancient Roman era ruins but not all of them.  How ironic it is that the U.S. Congress and White House, bastions of self-proclaimed Christianity, have for so long provided  support for the Syrian rebels -- the same rebels that routinely kill Christians and other minorities – while, at the same time, telling President Assad to leave the country and surrender to this trash.
