Supreme Court overturns ruling that threw out Texas' GOP congressional map for racial discrimination

It looks like we've finally gotten SCOTUS's answer to the gerrymandering question. I suggest purchasing white sheets for the Majority Five. There is no justification, none.

Why did it take them this long? I wonder. Why table the Wisconsin and Maryland recount decisions? Did they hope that we'd all be on vacation and not notice? That's the one percent, stupids. Did they want to hit and run since it is the end of the season? I'd guess the latter.

I suppose, . . . well, who knows how the North Carolina gerrymandering case will be decided next year? Maybe the Five can go on a hunting expedition with Dick Cheney this summer.
