I don't mind paying our superintendents well. The skills needed to run a large urban district may well be double or triple the skills needed by the governor of Texas (salary: $135,345), and the hours are longer.
But I want men and women doing the job who are more worried about children than about squeezing money from the system into their own pockets. |
