[How can people be so horrifyingly cruel?]

Sophia Weaver died aged 10 from the brain disorder Rett syndrome. Attacked by online trolls, her image was used to promote abortion. Her mother Natalie said: 'Our Sophia left this earth last night as she spent every day of her life, surrounded by love & adoration. In lieu of flowers, we ask that you donate to sophias-voice.com. Once we pull ourselves from this shattering pain, we will continue to help others in her memory.' Rett Syndrome mostly affects girls 1-2; symptoms include slowed brain growth, poor language skills, and trouble breathing. Death is related to seizure, aspiration pneumonia, malnutrition. She underwent more than 20 grueling surgeries in her short life, had a feeding tube and colostomy bag, and required 24-hour care.

I think Life on earth is positively the cruelest commodity dreamt up by the gods.

Joy comes in moments; sorrow stays for years.
