Be it a gilded sanctuary or a cliffside monastery, these beautifully designed temples will impress even the most seasoned of travelers.

Paro Taktsang, also known as "The Tiger's Nest" monastery, hangs on a cliffside precipice 10,000+ feet above the ground. Even monks like to live on the edge sometimes.
