One person was killed after an unnamed gunman opened fire inside a movie theater in Lafayette, Louisiana on Thursday night, before the gunman took his own life, officials said. Multiple other people were wounded, some with life threatening injuries. According to the Daily Advertiser, the shooting occurred 20 minutes into the the 7 p.m. screening of 'Train Wreck' when what witness Katie Domingue described as 'an older white man' stood up and began shooting. Lafayette Police Chief Jim Craft said the shooting was contained to one theater room.
