Scientists print first 3D heart using a patient's own cells

Researchers at Tel Aviv University managed to successfully print the first ever 3D heart that uses cells and biological materials from a patient.

Researchers have been working on 3D-printed tissues for years, with the eventual goal of creating functioning organs for transplant. The scientists involved in the heart project at Tel Aviv University theorized that within 10 years, organ printers could be available at hospitals.

People really doing something. Fun thought: The closer it gets to this option of creation, the less unbelievable Genesis becomes, stripped of the poetry; "This guy shows up, collects some clay, and pumps out the most outrageous creatures" ...I'm just sayin'......
