Nathan Deal and state lawmakers are being “deceptive” and even “intentionally misleading” with wording they have chosen for November’s constitutional amendment affecting schools. The amendment would eviscerate local control and create a statewide district modeled on Tennessee's failed Achievement School District. The takeover district would be called the 'opportunity school district.'
