The author of the linked article politely refers to Mitch McConnell’s style as “calculated audacity” and seems confident that McConnell’s Achievement of a conservative Supreme Court will be the legacy that will outlive him.
This assumes that the Democrats do not engage in the “audacity of consequences” by righting wrongs. One way to do this, is to suspend the filibuster until the Democrats gain a SCOTUS Seat advantage, commensurate to the seats stolen by the Trump/McConnell partnership.
A GOP stolen seat gives them an advantage of 1 seat, which is equalized by the Dems gaining one: only when the Dems Gain 2 seats are, they compensated. Counting foreign influence enabling 45 to win in 2016, three SCOTUS seats were stolen. Give Mitch’s 2021 unfavorable rating of 64%, the 2022 Senatorial races can become a referendum on the SCOTUS Seats.
