Seeing a dark-faced man enter a brand new Lincoln Navigator worth more than $75,000, police officers assumed he was an African American man attempting to steal a vehicle. The deputies shouted three warnings: "hey you nigga," which he ignored (possibly because, since he was white, he didn't realize they were talking to him.) Because he ignored the warnings, they shot him five times: in the back, in both legs and in the left arm. The County Sheriff characterized the deputies' actions as "exemplary" because they quickly called an ambulance when they realized their mistake. You can't make this sh*t up.
