For years, the Pentagon has been investigating UFOs and not telling us about it. The New York Times reports that the program has been ongoing for decades, though its findings have not been revealed to the public. Military and civilian pilots and also astronauts have reported seeing flying objects moving in ways that no earth-made craft could manage. Advanced materials unknown to the Defense Department were recovered from sites in Nevada where UFOs crashed. By 2009, Sen Harry Reid decided that the program had made such extraordinary discoveries that he argued for heightened security to protect it. “Much progress has been made with the identification of several highly sensitive, unconventional aerospace-related findings,” Mr. Reid requested that it be designated a “restricted special access program” limited to a few listed officials.
