Palestinians Challenge Israel's Settlement Enterprise in a US Court

 Two Palestinian Americans and the Palestinian town of ‘Anata and the village of Jalud, are launching the first legal challenge in the US by Palestinians against Israel’s settlement enterprise. They did so in a claim filed by the Center for Constitutional Rights in a federal court in DE, where Airbnb is incorporated. Though this is the first case of its kind in a US court, there have been other cases against settlers and companies operating in the settlements in Israeli courts, and Airbnb also  faces a class-action lawsuit in Israel. Human Rights Watch had urged Airbnb to take down listings in all Palestinian territories occupied by Israel in 1967—the West Bank, East Jerusalem, and the Golan Heights—as they are illegal under international law and responsible for violations of Palestinian human rights.
