Newmont faces a string of pollution accusations growing out of the company's operations on five continents. In Indonesia accused of dumping millions of tons of mercury and arsenic-based pollutants; Peruvians sue for mercury dumping and poisoning; Ghana same; and Bush Admin has just about given them the rights to West U.S.
