NJ Democrats are waiting for NH to stick a fork in Biden’s candidacy, bothered by his failure to kickstart excitement; after stumbing in Iowa, he essentially conceded New Hampshire. The party saw a fit with a candidate perceived to be rustbelt-friendly in a machine-functioning state like NJ.
Biden’s biggest issue is his numbers are slipping in SC. The NJ cash cow is reluctant to part with money considering his abysmal Iowa showing and inability to course correct. Fundraisers don’t have money to fritter on a sputtering Biden.
