On my desktop, I have a file of links called "Utter Contempt." Mitch is already there, but this story shows how the punditry celebrates politics, pushes politics as news, and shows UTTER CONTEMPT for the Rule of Law or our Constitution . " Because politics and government are just one big game to Politico, here's a story from Burgess Everett reveling in how much Mitch McConnell is enjoying destroying government. There isn't one word about the damage the "cartoon villain" is inflicting on all of the institutions of the federal government, but plenty about how much fun he's having doing it."
