In the Feb. 22nd Republican debate, Trump was greeted with boos when he said the Iraq war was a mistake, and louder boos when he said that Bush lied when he claimed Saddam had weapons of mass destruction. He suggested that 9/11 was proof that we weren’t being kept safe by Bush. The boos then turned to roars of anger. War-hawks dominated.
In the PBS Democratic debate two days earlier, Hillary pivoted to a new focus that, without specifically addressing war and the military, accuses Sanders of ignoring all the other troubles facing America at home and abroad by fixating on Wall Street and money in politics, and she suggested he is a single-issue candidate, while she is not.
Apparently she thinks the people support eternal war and empire, as Republicans do.
