Billionaire sex offender Jeffrey Epstein has been found “injured and in a fetal position” in his New York jail cell with marks around his neck, leading to speculation that he’d been attacked or injured himself to get transferred.

While authorities have questioned another inmate over the situation – a former cop locked up for allegedly killing four men in a drug conspiracy – multiple sources have rushed to the media claiming Epstein tried to hang himself, while another source claims he staged the injury to get transferred to another facility. He is currently on suicide watch, according to two sources.

Looks like there are those not wanting his story to get out.

(Do you mean "not talk"?)

Thanks for posting this, Dennis.

I agree with Allred, below, and I also wonder about karma, and whether Epstein has set himself up to reap some of the misery he has dealt to others.

From the Guardian:

"Following his arrest on 6 July, Epstein was initially held into the general population wing but was reportedly moved to solitary protective custody after other inmates threatened him.

The wing has been called a "hellhole", a "Guanta'namo in New York" and the worst in America. One prisoner in solitary confinement said he found Guanta'namo to be "more pleasant" and "more relaxed" by comparison.

In a 2011 report, Amnesty International said conditions in the 10 South wing amounted to "cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment" that was "incompatible with the presumption of innocence in the case of untried prisoners whose detention should not be a form of punishment".

Lawyer Gloria Allred, who represents some of Epstein's accusers, said: "I think that it is important that Mr Epstein be protected from self-harm or harm by others so that he will one day be in a condition to face his accusers in a court of law."

Definitely, meant to say NOT talk. OUCH, how one word can make a world of difference in what one says.
