Americans enjoy the excesses of consumerism to the point of overabundance and redundancy. Yet come election time, the only choice to be found on the threadbare shelves year after year is Republican and Democrat.

While the power brokers continue to spend $Billions in the political arena those numbers are actually kept down because of the "two-party" system in place as because of the monopoly the Democrats and Republicans have on the process there is no need for dollars to be spent on third party candidates as the Presstitute Media Propagandists (PMP) spill no ink on candidates other than those being paid for within the Republican or Democrat camps, because of that other candidates go unknown by the majority of voters. In addition, the voting process, the least of which is the Electoral College, which makes it impossible for a non-party candidate to be elected. It would have been interesting to see how Sanders, who all polls showed he would have defeated Trump or Hillary would have done running as a third-party candidate. My feeling is he would have lost as most voters would have "wasted" their vote on either Trump or Hillary because the PMP has the people believing a vote for a third party is a wasted vote. Possibly with the Electoral College system it is.
