ICE agent threatened, raped, and impregnated Honduran immigrant over 7-year period, says lawsuit

Rodriguez and Doe met in 2006 when her brother was arrested for entering US. Rodriguez told Doe, also living without documentation, in order to avoid being deported herself, she had to work as an informant. The suit says that Doe identified three men living in the US without documentation. Rodriguez instructed her to meet him at a motel in an effort to locate a person in 2007. She refused to have sex with Rodriguez; he covered her mouth, pushed her onto the bed, put his gun beside her, and raped her. Rodriguez forced her to perform oral sex on him. The agent threatened to kill her and her family on multiple occasions. She attempted suicide 4 times.

“My only comment is that my client had a choice, cooperate with ICE or be deported with her family,” Doe’s lawyer, George Kramer, said. “She is seeking compensation for the physical and emotional damage she suffered."
