As distasteful as the idea may be for non meat eaters, we now have GMO soy taken to a different level, "soy leghemoglobin".   The Impossible Burger is made with a genetically engineered substance (“heme”) which makes the burgers to appear to “bleed.”

Because this GMO “heme” had never been consumed by humans before, it needed formal FDA approval of “heme” as a color additive. Despite concerns raised by CFS members FDA Docket Number FDA-2018-C-4464-0002, FDA approved this new color additive unusually quickly.

These objections prevent the regulation from going into effect and prohibit any sales of the raw product until those objections are resolved. But grocery stores like Wegmans, Gelson's, and Fairway Market are already selling raw Impossible Burgers illegally.

Please object to the bastids.
