As distasteful as the idea may be for non meat eaters, we now have GMO soy taken to a different level, 'soy leghemoglobin'.   The Impossible Burger is made with a genetically engineered substance (“heme”) which makes the burgers to appear to “bleed.”

Because this GMO “heme” had never been consumed by humans before, it needed formal FDA approval of “heme” as a color additive. Despite concerns raised by CFS members FDA Docket Number FDA-2018-C-4464-0002, FDA approved this new color additive unusually quickly.

These objections prevent the regulation from going into effect and prohibit any sales of the raw product until those objections are resolved. But grocery stores like Wegmans, Gelson's, and Fairway Market are already selling raw Impossible Burgers illegally.

Please object to the bastids.

Now that I am in Massachusetts, I am discovering that there are still no left wing radical extremists to be found. That was an arrogant statement on my part especially since I was not looking for any.

Reminds me of the song Killing Me Softly. Roberta Flack?

Ah, the bag of trickery is deep.

The FDA closed the comment period Sept 3rd 2019 - while also informing viewers that it would consolidate comments if they came as a result of a mass mail campaign!

Forgive me for not diving into this more thoroughly. It appears that the comment period was closed Sep 3rd 2019. However, the Center for Food Safety says that they filed a timely objection which requires the FDA to respond to the objection(s) which it did not do. The FDA approved the GMO food additive without further ado.

Apparently it is not enough for us to be as guinea pigs to the big industrialists, consuming their frankenstien gentically modifed organisms without providing us notice that the product is GMO, we also have to be tricked so that we think a soy burger might actually be meat because it will appear to be bleeding?

Absolutely redic.

Big Agra is determined to force feed us fake food. But what would you expect from chemical companies transformed into "food" companies?

We need to return to the days of the small local family run farm.

True, but UN Agenda 2030 and Club of Rome are hellbent on eliminating small local family-run farms.

afterthought: Why would big pharma want a healthy population anyway?
