Fox News: This is not the time for partisanship
Health officials evacuating Americans from Wuhan, China, without protective gear? Or infection-control training? And retaliated against for complaining about it? That’s our Trump administration!
The workers didn’t show symptoms of infection and weren’t tested for virus, according to lawyers for the whistleblower, a senior HHS official based in Washington who oversees workers at the Administration for Children and Families within HHS.
The whistleblower seeks federal protection because she alleges she was unfairly and improperly reassigned after raising concerns about the safety of these workers to HHS officials, including those within the office of Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar. She was told February 19 that if she does not accept the new position in 15 days by March 5, she’ll be terminated.
