Defying the week-ago nearly 2:1 referendum that Syriza itself called for, the Greek government agreed to even more severe austerity measures, including cutting pensions that have already left hundreds of thousands impoverished, in exchange for promise to 'look at' restructuring the debt (maybe) by Germany and the 'Institutions.'
We've seen this play by pro-TPP forces in the American Congress; rejecting TPP without worker protections only to pass an even worse modified version a week later.
Lesson: Beware of Premature Celebration.
The Troika is now poised to take over every country in the EU, imposing austerity and poverty in a neo-feudalist paradigm, and making all governments irrelevant rubber-stampers. Soon, the banks will own everything in the EU, and unless checked by Russia-China and the rest of the BRICS, the world too.
