Michigan GOP Rep. Justin Amash said President Donald Trump committed 'impeachable conduct' and accused Attorney General Barr of misleading the public. Amash's comments recommending Congress pursue obstruction of justice charges against Trump were the first instance of a sitting Republican in Congress calling for Trump's impeachment.

Amash is a rare GOP critic of Trump and previously said Trump's conduct in pressuring then-FBI Director James Comey could merit impeachment. In a Twitter thread on Saturday, Amash said he believed 'few members of Congress even read' special counsel Robert Mueller's report and that the report itself established 'multiple examples' of Trump committing obstruction of justice.

Trump did collude by accepting $26 million from Sheldon Adelson as quid pro quo to become Netanyahu's Vice President. Trump's slavish pandering to Israel is a matter of public record. Given his ratcheting up sanctions AGAINST Russia and walking out of the INF Treaty, what is the point of this absurd article by Concocted News Network?

Because it is news, if you haven't noticed that, the first R to support impeachment. I posted it; I don't find it absurd at all. I used the CNN story for the Quicklink, simply because CNN filed the story first.

Would it seem less absurd if I had used the Fox News story which buried it massively....no other big coverage of it available through the Commons search here at OEN, but all of the major papers and networks covered the story, so there was nothing absurd or concocted about it.

What you say about Adelson is most interesting; perhaps you could write a great article for OEN expanding that, your first OEN article?
