I like the Guardian. It's one of the few journals I've tossed money at. Brexit is a classic in its way, sorting the UK the way Trump has the US. On one side the Right, stuffy big money with small minds, on the other, everyone else. The Right, as here, has to lie and pander to get anywhere, and all the bigots come out of the woodwork when they call. In the end, Brexit's affect may be positive, a conscience raising event, while it puts the lazy, distracted Left on its toes, when they'd rather live their own lives and trust the people they elect to do their jobs. In the US, I'm trusting that Trump will succeed in bringing down the GOP by similarly revealing their miserable approach to governing, which amounts to bleeding the US coffers and leaving everyone else to rot.
