Iowa Democratic Party is dealing with more issues and Wednesday sent out a tweet indicating a 'minor correction was needed' but did not elaborate on the error. At the same time, Black Hawk County Supervisor Chris Schwartz said delegates for Bernie Sanders were incorrectly given to Deval Patrick. Des Moines Register reported results released early Wednesday showed Patrick received 21 state delegates. When corrected results were issued on the party's website, Patrick had 0 delegates.
In that same report by the Register, numbers for Patrick were incorrectly reported in a Des Moines precinct. The chair for the Polk County Democrats, Sean Bagniewski, confirmed via Twitter that their numbers had been incorrectly reported by the state party. He noted that they were working with the party to correct the error. KWWL reached out to the Iowa Democratic Party for comment, but have yet to hear back.
