Trump said he hadn't conspired with the Clintons, as some skeptics believe, to enter the race to undermine the GOP's chances of taking back the White House. Trump said he had made up his mind to run before Bill Clinton phoned him and encouraged him 'to play a larger role in the Republican Party,' according to the Washington Post.
