| One of the more notable revelations in the Heartland Inst. climate denying scandal is that the General Motors has donated, through its GM Foundation, $30,000 over the past two years to the Heartland Institute. While American taxpayers were bailing out GM, GM was adding a nice donation to the substantial coffers of a climate change denying institution.
The revelation about GM's donation has caused an uproar amongst GM customers. McClatchy Newspapers' Renee Schoof recently reported that thousands of GM customers were voicing their unhappiness about the donation. |
