Instead of acknowledging that reform is needed, the DNC is doubling down on failed strategies and leadership.

The organization reported that May 2017 was its worst fundraising month since the Iraq War in 2003, and April 2017 was its worst fundraising month since 2009. In May, the DNC also reported that it has $1.9 million in debt.

In contrast, Bernie Sanders raised over $200m for his single presidential bid by the end of his campaign.

As Sanders now says, the DNC strategy is a losing one, a disaster.

It's a little better when one looks at the total raised by the DNC for 2016, however, which is still higher than the RNC raised.
