Nothing like beating a dead horse, but after our Wake Up Call in Hawaii on Saturday morning, I'm entitled! I'm certain that the remaining Capitalists on Op Ed will be pleased to know that the State Director of Tourism says it hasn't affected Travel.
Either he is simple minded, or he thinks we are.
People book their trips months in advance, pay up-front, and have non-refundable tickets. They won't cancel, but the real question is whether others are optimistic enough to book now, or will they head to other places?
But, this Link is about the fate of Post-War Socialism in the UK, and how it bailed out Capitalism - Just as the New Deal did in the US, 20 years earlier. The question is whether we finally kick the 1% into the dust-bin of History, or double down on Humanities' losing bet?
