Border Patrol chief Carla Provost does not approve of 10,000 agents belonging to a  violently racist, misogynist Facebook group. “These posts are completely inappropriate and contrary to the honor and integrity I expect from our agents day in and day out. Any employees found to have violated our standards of conduct will be held accountable.”

What does Provost consider to count as holding people accountable for graphic, sexually violent, doctored images of Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and posts mocking the deaths of migrants. From what Ocasio-Cortez and other members of Congress who toured border facilities on reported, the cruelty and racism of the Facebook posts absolutely reflects how border agents treat detained migrants.

Donald Trump responded to the Facebook post: “So the Border Patrol, they’re patriots, they’re great people. They love our country. They know who’s coming in.”

Isn't it interesting that Chief Provost is upset about violent and graphic FB posts but apparently unconcerned about migrants being obliged to drink out of toilets.

Yes. I recommended to AOC through her staff that she asked her committee chairmen, whichever would be the best one, to conduct hearings, full scale congressional hearings on this grotesque and illegal situation.

Look what McCarthy's response was! (inside the ideological comfort zone of Fox News, of course!):

McCarthy: Ocasio-Cortez owes the country an apology for concentration camp remarks Rep. Ocasio-Cortez compares border detention centers to concentration camps; reaction and analysis from House Minority leader Rep. Kevin McCarthy.
