This is perhaps the most extraordinary interview I've ever read. For someone who was notoriously "mysterious" to the point of impenetrable in his early days, Dylan now is as frank and open as it seems possible to be. And yes, the interview does cover a lot of territory. At nearly 80 years of age, Dylan's mind is just as powerful (or even more so) as ever. And, his perspective on America at this time in it's history, alone are worth all of the media punditry combined.
The interview is an all too rare glimpse of the inner life and workings of one of the truly unique artists of modern times.
