TPP opponents view it as dismantling Democracy, however the very process of sneaking it into the post-election session is a two-fold assault our Democracy.
It deprives voters the opportunity to consider incumbents voting record on perhaps the most controversial economic issue of the 21st Century.
Defeated/retiring legislators won’t have to face angry voters for their TPP votes and reelected Senators and Representative can’t be held accountable by voters for six and two years respectively.
