The Senator's digital operation surpasses all others. Means of Production, which created the viral campaign video for Ocasio-Cortez’s campaign, is talking with Sanders, who streamed his rebuttal to President Donald Trump’s Oval Office address had 1.1 million views.  CrowdTangle data underscores his muscle: Sanders’ videos had nearly 1.5 billion views in 2017-18 on Facebook, three times more than all other potential 2020 Democratic candidates’ videos. The nominee must compete on social media with Trump, who used Twitter to bypass mainstream media. People for Bernie hosted 400 house parties. Winnie Wong said the events showed that outside pro-Sanders organizations have social media power to use in a presidential election.
