Bart Chilton is the second RT America host to die suddenly and prematurely, in addition to RT co-founder, Mikhail Lesin, who died in Washington DC. Bart Chilton was commissioner at the US Commodity Futures Trading Commission from 2007 to 2014. Chilton was a regular guest on CNBC and Bloomberg prior to his installation at RT as host of the daily finance program, Boom Bust, and was widely trusted by the American public. His death was attributed to "a sudden illness", as was the death of another RT nightly host, Ed Schulz, formerly of MSNBC.
