Freedom Party (FPO) leader Strache was shown in the footage published on Friday by two German newspapers meeting a woman posing as the niece of a Russian oligarch in 2017, shortly before the election that brought him to power. In the video, he is apparently offering state construction contracts to a company in exchange for political and financial support.

This article begs a question concerning a relative event in the US, when it may never have occurred to anyone that the famous "Trump Towers Meeting" that put Don Jr. in the limelight wasn't also a setup?

When the big deal was "Hillary's Emails", it struck me that this period was well known as an NSA invasion of privacy rights during which even President Andrea Merkel's emails were being hacked, so of course were Hillary's, but they kept asking her for them because, though they already HAD them, they couldn't admit it, as it would have opened a can of worms about the entire administration's hacked calls and texts, including Obama's, one can only assume.

In this case, it would appear that Trump's "paranoia" about his campaign being "illegally spied upon" was correct, but again, the truth about the meeting that has been secured can only be revealed by its participants, because it was illegal to set it up, or tape it when it happened. So was it a sting? We may never know.

Has anyone but me ever seen "Start the Revolution Without Me"? A romping comedy about France with Donald Sutherland and Gene Wilder; in which a riotous scene occurs at a masked ball, as little notes of intrigue being passed around are falling like snow. Well, there we are!
