A fascinating video and the story about the discovery of a fish that was supposed to have gone extinct 400 million years ago. Imagine walking in the forest, and abruptly stumbling into a lumbering brachiosaurus. That was effectively what happened on this day 77 years ago, when a South African museum curator discovered a coelacanth fish, seemingly unchanged from its prehistoric form, plucked live from the ocean.
