"This “rage survey”  cuts across racial and gender lines and  based on sound numbers;   found that 1/2 of Americans say they are more angry than they were a year ago, and most get mad at least once every day at something they hear or read in the news. Yes, Americans are angry. The fury is a bipartisan thing: More than 3/4 of GOPs and two-thirds of Dems feel this way. This spitting-mad electorate presents challenges to candidates.   Mr. Trump plays on what the survey’s authors call “the anger of perceived disenfranchisement — a sense that the majority has become a persecuted minority.” Mr. Sanders,  taps into voters who say their American dream is ending:  work doesn’t pay off like it used to. Even as his fellow candidates have emphasized national security issues, Mr. Sanders has  stuck to a domestic message: The richest Americans are getting richer while the poor get poorer."
