Chuck Todd once again confronted Donald Trump on Meet the Press and appeared to get more and more exasperated with Trump’s false claim that thousands of New Jersey Muslims cheered on 9/11. Todd pointed out that Trump has demanded “pinpoint accuracy” from the media––and at pretty much every rally Trump has called the press “dishonest”––and asked, “Why shouldn’t we demand the same pinpoint accuracy in the claims that you make? Isn’t it hypocritical of you calling us out if we’re not calling you out when you stray from the truth?” Todd cried, “You’re running for President of the United States! Your words matter! Truthfulness matters! Fact-based stuff matters!”
