The rights of women in Islamic countries is significantly different , but women's rights in Afghanistan is just about the worst one of them all.

The cause of these horrible mistreatments of women goes back to the primitive tribal nature of the country. Although, during last few years there have been some improvements in Afghan women's rights. No one can predict the future of the country. The women's active participation in the battles in Kurdistan against ISIS was impressive , because ISIS men believed that if they were killed by a woman they would go to hell. I do not know if the Taliban have similar believes. Everything that I have seen and read points to a grime future for women.
