Trump’s babble began with questioning Obama’s citizenship and has ended, so far anyway, with a right-wing push to suspend the Constitution—just long enough to prevent Biden from ascending to the presidency. In between, the wrong person, the diametric opposite of the ideal president, was elected and generated an infinity of babble in the form of tweets and their annihilating outcomes.

Trump can never return to real estate, it has been said. But did he ever really leave it? 

Here I submit a 2017 article on what the founding fathers wanted a president to be, which isn’t really specified in the Constitution. There was huge disagreement and quickly contradictions ensued in the form of the presidents who followed Washington who, you will remember, eschewed the offer of becoming king of the United States.
