The Democratic candidate, popular folk singer Rob Quist, has done a great job building grass roots support. The GOP candidate just lost another state-wide election. But the DNC is doing nothing to help this guy-- in a state where one of the US senators, Jon Tester, is a Democrat.
The Huffpo says,
"The DCCC is not running ads in Montana, a sign that they see the race as unwinnable and not worth the investment...
Yet there is an argument to be made that things are different. The population of Helena, Montana, is around 30,000 if everybody is home. On Jan. 21, some 10,000 people filled the streets for the town’s women’s march. Indivisible groups and new county Democratic parties have been popping up."
Come on DNC. Stop being stupid and start tapping the power of the people. And Bernie-- get on the DNC leadership's asses about getting involved in Montana
