A Black Police Officer saved America on Wednesday

US Capitol Police Officer Eugene Goodman glances to his left and sees that the door to the Senate is still open, with people in there, so he lured the angry mob in the other direction, away from the entrance to the Senate floor,  risking his life to give the members of the Senate enough time to clear the area.
