Few people can appreciate, or are willing to, just how close Man-made actions have come to completely destroying the world in just minutes due to nuclear Armageddon. Here is a list of 6 tiny, fantastically stupid, yet potentially civilization-ending mistakes both during and after the Cold War. And these are not atypical. See the recent movie 'Command and Control' for more.

It's amazing we are here at all. This is worth reviewing as we step up the Cold War again, this time with China as well as Russia.
