Abolish the Tools of the Imperial Presidency? Do you agree?

In order to preserve the Republic, restore the Constitution, and uphold "the rule of law", the tools of Bush Jr's dictatorship must be renounced, rejected, and abolished. Do you agree?

Â

His PATRIOT ACT gave him to power to spy on Americans at will andÂ without a court order.

Â

HisÂ AUTHORIZATION TO USE MILITARYÂ (AUMF) gave him the power to declare any person on earth an enemy combatant and any nation on earthÂ a threat, and authorized him to use military force on his say so alone.

Â

His MILITARY COMMISSIONS ACT gave him the power to tortureÂ anyone without consequence, detain indefinitely anyone without charge, without a trial in open court, without due process, and without the right to "habeas corpus", on his say so alone.

Â

The 110th Democratic Congress and President Obama andÂ the 111th Democratic Congress have not rescindedÂ any of these imperial, draconian laws, the tools of a dictator retained and intact.

In fact,Â Congress/Obama have renewed these anti-American laws, as ifÂ they were expecting the return of another monarch.
