Mike Gravel is one of my heroes, a former Senator from Alaska, and a presidential candidate in 2008 and for the 2020 election.

He's my hero because he had the courage to release Daniel Ellsberg's pentagon papers. He tells us what he'd have said if the DNC had allowed him in the debate and what he has to say to Donald Trump-- and who he endorses, about the DNC, Medicare for All, and a lot more

Senator Gravel, the first time we met was at a Washington conference for progressives, and then I met you again when you were excluded from a primary debate in Philly in 2008. It's great to have you back on the show.

Tell me what you would have added to the Democratic debate you were excluded from.

You refer to republican socialism. Let's talk about that.

One of my favorite Sen Mike Gravel's "quotes" about the 9/11 Truth Movement - "the truth wherever it leads" (asking "who benefits from this"?) !! He meant it and means it !! Thank You Sen Gravel. Yes, "Bernie" and "Tulsi" or "Tulsi" and "Bernie" for 2020 !! "Unbelievable" Team - They're "strong" - could/would "stand up", "strong" to Trump !!

For some time I've tried to get to the bottom of the American dilemma of murder and mayhem. It has taken many turns over the centuries, but it's clear that it is not something any of these politicians are up to changing.

I agree with Mike Gravel on many of his positions, candidate picks aside. However one can talk the talk but walking is, like Michael Hudson said in quoting the profound anti-imperialist, Mark Twain: "everyone talks about the weather but no one does anything about it."

Hudson has a clear understanding of this equally profound dilemma. Regime change is but one means to an end. That end is global scale dominance through oil.

Gabbard thinks she's got Trump pegged (or does she?) as the Saudi "b*tch". But that's entirely backwards. The deal with the Saudis predates Trump by 7 or so decades.

This situation impedes any sort of attempt to combat climate change. To actually make a difference would require doing mortal combat with powerful forces.

Would either Bernie or Tulsi be up to this? I doubt it. No one is. Collapse (or worse) is the only resolve. The only other alternative, not one in US hands, is for the world to divest itself of fossil, thus ending the US dollar hegemony as lord and master of the world. Maybe....The MSM would slaughter a US president who undertook this route and likely there would be an (JFK) assassination plot, attempt.

The August 6, 2019 Newshour stated that Mike Gravel had dropped out of the race for President and that he supports Bernie.

I sent the following Email to the Newshour, and I suspect that as usual I will not get a response back.

Viewermail@newshour.org

Mike Gravel supports both Tulsi Gabbard and Bernie Sanders and appeared to me to more favorable to Tulsi.

Why did you not mention Tulsi Gabbard!!!!!!
